First of all I need to apologise for being so inactive recently! But I have loads of new ideas for my posts and will be writing loads up soon!!!
Recently Makeup Revolution came out with this new brand called Freedom makeup, a UK based brand who class themselves as 'new professional makeup brand with high quality products at affordable prices'. They are classed as 'professional' product, there quality is amazing for the price but not on par with other professional brands like mac, benefit ect. But for the prices you cannot go wrong, I would definitely recommend you all to take a look and try these. Swatches and reviews will be coming soon of all the products.

The first thing I bought was this set of 30 single eyeshadows, they are priced at £1 each or all 30 for only £20 making them at only 67p each! The appearance of them reminds me a lot of the round Too Faced single eyeshadow pots. I have only swatch a few of these but the pigmentation was amazing in them! A few of them had a little bit of fallout, but not a lot. Remember your powder under your eyes when applying these!!

I also picked up these cute eyeshadow palates.
The top: Pro 12 Secret Rose. This cost £4, I couldn't resist some of these colours. They are beautiful, this photo does not do it justice. This palette looks very similar to the NARS Dual Intensity Shadows with the patterns on them.
Second row: Pro Shade & Brighten Stunning Rose Kit and Pro Shade & Brighten Mattes Kit 1
Third row: Pro Shade & Brighten Play Kit and Pro Shade & Brighten Shimmers Kit
The last four are all prices at £2.50 each or all four for £7.50 with a free eye primer. I still cannot belive this price considering you get 7 shadows in each set.

I was so excited for some of these products! I love love love the leopard print pro glow bronzers priced at £2.50 each. I got them in purr and meow. These are quite obviously inspired by the Too Faced bronzers and are sooo pretty. I am currently using one of them on a daily basis. I also picked up one of there highlighters which cost £3, I only got one as I imagine them to be very similar to the makeup revolution ones. I was very excited to pick up the corrector palette, This one cost £5. It contains 6 shades to conceal and illuminate the skin. I am very excited to try this, I have only recently just tried using coloured concealers and couldn't believe the difference it makes.

I think I may have got his for free with the order but cannot remember, it is the pro highlight and blush set in peach spice. They are actually powders but the picture makes it look like cream for some reason, and has a nice mix of shimmer and mattes.

Next I bought the pro melts gloss in the colour 'Jammy dodger' priced at £3, I only ogt one f these before buying more to check how pigmented they are, and if they are more of a tint or full colour. For those wondering, the colour you see on the outside of the tube is the colour you get. They are so bright and creamy. Was really impressed with these.

Finally I picked up some of their lipsticks, these are all only £1 each. They also do a set for all 25 shades for £20, which works out to be only 80p per lipstick. I am yet to try these but have high hopes afer the revolution ones I have tried.
I hope you all enjoyed my haul and swatches will be on there way!

So today I picked up the makeup revolution palette iconic 2, and I couldn't help but realise how similar it was to the Naked palette 2.
I did a overview and little review of all the naked palettes here if you like to take a look. Anyone who knows anything about make-up has heard of the naked palettes, they contain some amazing neutral tones and are so high pigmented, the only down side is the price tag, £38 each. So this palette is a great affordable alternative, and they do dupes of all three for only £4 each.

The revolution palette comes in a simple black case with a huge window on the front to see all the colours. It has a strong clasp holding it together.
Ingredients;
Mica- is a phyllosilicate mineral, by mixing or covering this product with other chemicals/ materials it can reflect any colour of the rainbow. Also adding different sizes of this product can change the effect from a smooth matte to a shimmery effect. The shimmer in eye shadow often comes from mica.
Talc- is used in loads of cosmetics from baby powder to blush. it may be used to absorb moisture, to prevent caking, to make facial makeup opaque, or to improve the feel of a product.
Magnesium stearate- Is mainly used for lubricating properties. They also help to keep emulsions from separating into their oil and liquid components. It also reduces the clear or transparent appearance of finished products.
Paraffinum Liquidum- 100% mineral oil, It has large molecules which are unable to penetrate the surface of the skin, therefore it acts a non-absorbent oily film, said to 'lock in moisture'.
Ethylhexyl Palmitate-The Palmitate ingredients act as lubricants on the skin's surface, which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance.
Polybutene- is used primarily in lipsticks and balms, as a binder, epilating agent, thickener and lubricant.
Dimethicone- is widely used in beauty products, its a man-made product created in a lab. It makes products easily spreadable. Dimethicone also helps form a protective barrier on the skin, and can fill in the fine lines and wrinkles on the face.
Methylparaben- is an antifungal and preservative.
Propylparaben- is a fine crystalline powder, is used to control the growth of bacteria, yeasts and moulds.

Top: Makeup revolution (has no names for shadows)
Bottom: Naked 2 From left to right - Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted and Blackout.
I can't believe how similar the colours are. The only one I was disappointed in was the 'foxy' dupe, the colour doesn't come out on my skin.
There is a bit of fallout with the revolution shadows when applying. To prevent this from ruining the rest of your make-up simply apply a think layer of powder underneath your eyes before doing your eye shadow. Any fallout you can simply wipe away.
The Naked palette shadows are more 'creamy' and soft compared to the revolution ones, and slightly more high pigmented, but not that much especially considering the price difference. On a few colours of the revolution palette you have to build. I would definitely recommend this to anyone as a cheaper alternative to the Naked palette.

This is the first ever one of these boxes I have tried from this company, I was so excited to have finally bought one. I have been watching there boxes for ages and always loved the contents!!!

Cost of box: £15
Value of box £50.92
1) Label.m shine spray 50ml Worth £4.90 approx. (125ml - £12.25)
Label.m is a huge name in the beauty industry, it is used in many beauty salons and is also the 'official haircare product' of London fashion week. I have never had this brand in a beauty box before so was very pleased as it I completely new to me. The product is supposed to take hair from 'lacklustre to luxury', and also protects hair from heat styling and U.V. rays.
2) Korres aloe & soapwort shampoo 50ml Worth £2.70
This shampoo reduces the rate of splitting and makes your hair stronger. It’s really gentle and suitable for frequent use. It contains a cleansing combination of mild detergents and conditioning agents to moisturise and enhance your hair's sheen. It's also suitable for vegans. I was super happy to receive this one too as I have been wanting to get my hands on some korres products to try for a while. It also smells great.
3) Nuxe paris crème prodigieuse 15ml Worth £7.88 (40ml - £21)
Anti-fatigue moisturizing cream provides significant improvement in moisturisation and complexion freshness, as well as leaving the skin looking matt. This cream sinks in instantly and after about 30 seconds you cannot feel you have put cream on your skin. It instantly smoothed my skin and gave it a matt look. Really impressed!
4) Ren radiance renewal mask 15ml Worth £9.60 (50ml - £32)
A potent bio active peel mask designed to renew the complexion, reduce the appearance of fine lines and dramatically improve skin tone. I have a min stash of these now I just have never got round to trying them. Have had them in several boxes and am quite bored of seeing it.
5) Caudalie vinoperfect serum 10ml Worth £15 (30ml - £45)
A remarkable formula to boost the radiance of your complexion and appearance for smoother, brighter-looking skin. I am so excited to try it, all previous caudaline items I have used have been amazing.
6) Murad rapid collagen infusion 5ml Worth £10.84 (30ml - £65)
This is a fast-acting, multi-tasking, wrinkle-fighting and collagen-building formula promotes healthy collagen and hydration levels to plump skin and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Also buy the full size and £10 of the retail price of this product will be donated to The Prince’s Trust. I think this is one of the most expensive skin care items I have ever owned. I cannot wait to try it under my eyes!
I am really impressed with this line up, I cannot wait to try everything. Although it would have been nice to see a make-up brand in there somewhere.

As i'm sure you all can guess by now I love makeup revolution, their price to quality is unbeaten. You can get so many great products, which are high quality for a low price. And I love how they do make-up replicas.
I recently bought the collection of their 'I heart Makeup' Lip lava's. These are very similar to the too faced melted lipsticks. I love these ones so couldn't wait to get my hands on these lip lavas. Their box is almost identical, they both come in a squeezy tube with a soft slanted lip applicator. The too faced ones deffinatly win on appearance, but they are £19 whereas the lip lavas are only £2.99 each. I bought them direct from their website, which means I got a great deal, buy all 5 for the price of 4! So it all cost £11.96, you can't even get one melted lipstick for that price!!

From left to right; Firestorm, Shockwave, Forgiven, Unleash and Tremor
As you can see th box and tube colours don't do justice for the actual colour of the lipticks.
Too faced colour replicas
•Tremor = Melted Peony
•Shockwave = Melted Violet
•Forgiven = Melted Nude
•Firestorm = Melted Ruby
•Unleash = Melted Coral
These are not lip-glosses, they apply like one and set as matte lipsticks. So being like a gloss makes it very easy to apply.
A great long-lasting high pigmented product. I love them and can't wait to wear them all.

YOU Beauty Discovery is a monthly beauty membership service, which delivers a beautifully packaged beauty box straight to your door.
The box each month lets you choose 2 deluxe sized beauty items plus sends you 2 - 3 additional items. This is one of my favourite beauty boxes, as you get to see what you get before purchasing and its only £6.95 a month. This months box was all about 'Beauty hero's, and based on their last months CEW finalist shortlist box. There is a great range of high quality products, some well known and some less known brands to choose from.

Cost of box: £6.95
Value of box: £15.49
Items in the box
1) Clipper teabags Worth approx. £0.20 (box of 20 costs £1.89 variable)
I received two of these, both different flavours; Organic green tea and Red fruits & aronia berry. Those who know me will know how much I love tea so loved that these where included. I like separate envelopes of tea because I can throw them into my handbag for work.
2)Urban fruit mango pieces 35g Worth £1 (Ocado)
This was another great one for me. The amount of snacks I consume in a day is gross, and mango is my favourite fruit so cannot wait t tuck into these. They are 100% fruit and only 20g is one of your 5 a day.
3)Good to go anywhere Worth approx. £1 (box of 3 costs £2.49)
These included a sanitising wet wipe, Absorbent dry tissue and cleansing wet wipe. If im honest I don't think I will ever use these, I carry around a pack of tissue and anti-bac in my bag most places I go. They have a lot more uses than just one and bin.
4)Inika pure primer 10ml Worth approx. £5.90 (50ml costs £29.50)
I picked this as I have been on the scout for a new primer for ages. Inkika claims this product to be Certified Organic. Certified Halal. Certified Vegan. Certified Cruelty-Free. and its made with 83% organic products. This primer is different to the ones I usually try. It feels more like a moisturiser, but it is so good, 14 hours on my foundation still looks how I applied it this morning. I am so impressed. It also is scented unlike any primer I have tried, which was a nice surprise. It smells really fresh a cross between citrus and lavender. Definitely will be re-purchasing.
5)Crown brush C436 duo fibre blender Worth £7.39
I have never heard of this brand before, looking on their website they look like a very affordable company with a HUGE range of make-up brushes. There is loads of bristles in the brush and they are fairly soft with a slight edge to it.
Love, love, loved this box! Especially the added extra tea and treats! Nothing negative to say on this one, can't wait to se what they have for next month.
